“SHORTBRIDGE SOUTH”
With rapidly rising fuel prices and inability to cover increased costs even via Bunker Surcharges (BAF), the Standard Schedule is amended to Departures 1 hour earlier from Immingham (18:00 hrs in stead of 19:00 hrs local time, Monday - Friday) and increasing the transit time to Rotterdam by 1 hour.
This change is effective 07 July 2008 and initially for a trial period until 19 August 2008, in order to gauge fuel consumption savings and operational effects.
Closing times in Immingham are hence also 1 hour earlier during this period.
