Conditions and Charges

Dangerous Goods may be accepted for shipments subject the recommendations of the IMDG Code (latest edition, including amendments as published by IMO).

Bookings

Bookings are to be made as early as possible via DFDS Tor Line or its local agent. However, requests for shipment of Class 1 (explosives) must be submitted one week before shipment.

Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD)

Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD), including unit number and ship's name, shall be submitted to DFDS Tor Line or its local agent as early as possible. Final deadline for regular traffic is 14.00 on the day prior to departure and for EuroBridge-traffic, at 10.00 one working day prior to vessel's departure.

Container / Vehicle Packing Certificate (CPC)

For Dangerous Goods packed into a unit such as a container, flat, trailer or other
vehicle intended for sea transport, a Container / Vehicle Packing Certificate (CPC) must be submitted not later than at the time the unit is delivered for shipment.

Deadline

AngloBridge - Gothenburg: Units must be delivered to the terminal at 12.00 on the day of departure except on Saturdays when the unit must be delivered at 09.00 (local deadlines may vary).

EuroBridge, delivery time is 21.00 one working day prior to vessel's departure.

"NorBridge", units must be delivered 6 hrs prior to vessel's departure.

Class 5.1

When carrying class 5.1 UN 1479, 1748, 2208 and 2880 it should be:
Stowage: On deck only, out of direct sunlight and clear of living quarters.
Package: In clean drums not exceeding 45 kg net weight.

Class 7

Radioactive substances are only accepted upon request at least 7 working days in advance and requires approval from the ports involved and from the DFDS Insurance Department, Copenhagen.
